On the 21st & 22nd of December 2024, the African Cultural Choir brought Galleria to life with a performance that was equal parts soulful and electrifying. From the opening beats with tunes like ‘Jambo Bwana’ and their signature entrance and exit music, they had the crowd hooked, turning the atrium into a dance floor with their energetic take on ‘Ding Dong Merrily on High’ among others.
Their Africanised rendition of ‘Joy to the World’ was a beautiful fusion of African rhythm and Christmas spirit, while their powerful vocals on ‘Hosanna’ gave us the chills. The ladies got to serenade diner at Java, while the gentlemen kept shoppers at the atrium entertained.
With every note, every harmony, and every dance step, they filled the mall with joy, ending on the same high energy they started with—an unforgettable holiday moment!
